Description

Upgrade your braking system with the AS3 Performance Venhill brake lines. Crafted from marine - grade stainless steel, these lines prevent hose expansion, enhancing the feel and response of your brakes. Factory - tested to 1500 psi, they meet or exceed TUV and DOT standards. The 303 stainless steel swivel unions let you adjust the banjo angle for perfect alignment on the caliper and master cylinder. With a wipe - clean PVC finish, AS3 branding, and matt black banjos and bolts, they offer a great visual upgrade over OEM rubber hoses. These lines fit 2000 - 2006 Honda XL 650 V Transalp and come in a race setup (2 separate lines from the master cylinder to each caliper). Features include DuPont PTFE heat - resistant hosing, rubber grommets, and more. All parts are in stock and ready to ship. Custom colors are available upon request.

Using these brake lines is straightforward. First, make sure your bike is turned off and on a stable surface. Locate the master cylinder and calipers. Remove the old brake lines carefully. Install the new AS3 Venhill brake lines, adjusting the banjo angle with the stainless - steel swivel unions for a perfect fit. Tighten the bolts and place the copper washers as shown in the photos. Fill the brake system with the appropriate brake fluid. Remember to bleed the brakes to remove any air bubbles. As for maintenance, regularly check the lines for any signs of wear or damage. Wipe them clean with a soft cloth to keep the PVC finish looking good. If you notice any issues, like leaks or a decrease in brake performance, have the lines inspected right away. Also, if you plan to store your bike for a long time, it's a good idea to cover the brake lines to protect them from dust and debris.
