Description

AS3 Performance rear brake pedals and gear levers are crafted through cold forging of aluminium. This not only enhances the levers' strength but also keeps the overall weight super light. Unlike cast or CNC machined levers, the forging process makes these levers a bit softer, greatly reducing the risk of snapping upon impact. The gear lever has CNC machined tips with knurled grooves for a better grip, and the brake pedal features 8 teeth. This combo fits multiple Honda models, including the 2016 - 2019 CRF 1000 L Africa Twin ABS, 2018 - 2019 CRF 1000 L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ABS, 2020 - 2024 CRF 1100 L Africa Twin ABS, and 2020 - 2024 CRF 1100 L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ABS. Key features include aluminium construction for minimal weight, cold forging for strength, a spring - loaded tip on the gear lever to prevent impact damage, 2 mounting positions for the rear brake pedal tip, knurled grooves on the gear lever tip for better grip, a brake snake cable to prevent pedal bending or snapping, anodized black finish with coloured tips and AS3 Performance branding. Different tip colours and oversized tips are also available. Both levers come with a 12 - month warranty, and the parts in the picture are exactly what you'll get.

Using your new AS3 gear lever and rear brake pedal is easy. Just install them on your compatible Honda Africa Twin as per the standard motorcycle part installation process. When shifting gears, the knurled grooves on the gear lever will give you a great grip, making the operation smooth. For braking, the multiple teeth on the brake pedal offer good control. Here are some things to keep in mind. Don't use excessive force on the levers, especially during high - impact situations. The spring - loaded tip on the gear lever is there to protect it, but rough handling can still cause damage. To maintain these parts, clean them regularly with a mild motorcycle cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the anodized finish. Check the mounting positions and the brake snake cable periodically to ensure they are in good condition. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, contact the manufacturer for assistance within the 12 - month warranty period.
