Description

AS3 Performance rear brake pedals are crafted from cold - forged aluminium. This not only slashes the overall weight but also boosts the pedal's strength. Unlike cast or CNC machined brake pedals, the forging process makes it a bit softer, greatly reducing the risk of it breaking upon impact. The pedal features a CNC machined spring - loaded tip with 9 replaceable stainless steel teeth and comes with a stainless steel brake snake cable. This cable acts as a safeguard, preventing the pedal from bending when it gets caught on deep ruts or rocks. It fits multiple Gas Gas models including 2014 EC 125, 2014 - 2017 EC 250, 2014 - 2017 EC 300, 2011 - 2016 EC 250 F, 2013 - 2016 EC 300 F, and 2013 - 2016 EC 450 F. Key features include lightweight aluminium construction, cold forging for strength, a spring - loaded tip to prevent damage, 9 replaceable stainless steel teeth, a brake snake cable for protection, black anodization with a coloured tip and AS3 Performance branding. Different tip colours and oversized tips are available. It's easy to install as a direct OEM replacement and comes with a 12 - month warranty. The pedal you see in the picture is exactly what you'll receive.

Using this AS3 rear brake pedal is straightforward. Just install it as a direct replacement for your OEM brake pedal. When riding, use your foot to press on the pedal as you normally would to activate the brakes. Remember, the spring - loaded tip and the brake snake cable are there to protect the pedal, but try to avoid hitting deep ruts or rocks too hard. For maintenance, regularly check the 9 replaceable stainless steel teeth. If they show signs of excessive wear, replace them. Clean the pedal with a mild soap and water solution to keep it looking good. Also, ensure the anodized finish remains intact to prevent corrosion. If you encounter any issues, refer to the 12 - month warranty for support.
