Description

AS3 Performance presents a top - notch rear brake pedal and gear lever combo set. These components are cold - forged from aluminium, which significantly enhances their strength while keeping the weight incredibly low. Unlike cast or CNC machined levers, the forging process makes these levers slightly softer, reducing the risk of snapping upon impact. The gear lever features CNC machined spring - loaded tips with knurled grooves for a better grip, and the brake pedal has 9 replaceable stainless - steel teeth. This set is specifically designed to fit 2006 - 2009 Yamaha YZ 250 F models. Key features include: aluminium construction for minimal weight, cold forging for enhanced strength, spring - loaded tips to prevent impact damage, 9 replaceable stainless - steel teeth on the brake pedal tip, knurled grooves on the gear lever for better grip, a brake snake cable to prevent bending or snapping of the brake pedal, anodized black finish with coloured tips and AS3 Performance branding. Different tip colours and oversized tips are also available. Both levers come with a 12 - month warranty, and the parts in the picture are exactly what you'll receive.

Using your AS3 gear lever and rear brake pedal is easy. Just step on the brake pedal to slow down or stop your Yamaha YZ 250 F, and use the gear lever to shift gears as needed. For the best performance, make sure your feet are positioned correctly on the pedal and lever. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the spring - loaded tips and the 9 stainless - steel teeth on the brake pedal. If they show signs of wear, you can easily replace them. Regularly check the brake snake cable to ensure it's in good condition and preventing the pedal from bending or snapping. Also, clean the levers occasionally with a mild cleaner to keep the anodized black finish looking great. Don't forget that both levers come with a 12 - month warranty, so if you encounter any issues, reach out to the manufacturer.
