These kits fit neatly into the bottom of the handlebar clamp and come with longer bolts to replace your existing pinch bolts, raising the handlebars by 30mm. They are universally designed for 28.6mm handlebars with a 40mm distance between mounting hole centers. The kit includes three longer bolt options: 4 x M8 x 65mm, 4 x M8 x 70mm, and 4 x M8 x 75mm. Different clamps may need different bolt lengths, so when installing, make sure the bolts are screwed in to the same depth as the original OEM bolts. We also offer longer bolts if needed. Using this AS3 Performance handlebar riser kit is a breeze. First, check the distance between the centers of the mounting holes on your handlebars - it should be 40mm. These risers are designed for 28.6mm handlebars, so make sure your bike's handlebars match this size. Next, remove the existing handlebar pinch bolts. Then, place the risers neatly in the bottom part of the handlebar clamp. Now, choose the appropriate longer bolts from the three options provided (4 x M8 x 65mm, 4 x M8 x 70mm, 4 x M8 x 75mm). Remember, different clamps may need different length bolts depending on the thickness of the top part of the handlebar clamp. When installing, screw the bolts in to the same depth as the OEM bolts you removed. As for maintenance, keep the risers clean. You can wipe them with a soft cloth regularly. If you notice any signs of damage or wear, check the warranty as it lasts 12 months from the date of purchase. Also, always double - check the tightness of the bolts before each ride to ensure safety.
