Description

AS3 Performance oil filler plugs are crafted from 6061 billet aluminium using CNC machining for a perfect fit. They're sturdier and more long - lasting than standard plastic plugs, performing great under high heat and pressure. These plugs feature a 19mm hex head with pre - drilled holes for locking wire and an anodised finish with the AS3 Performance laser - etched logo. They come with a rubber o - ring. All parts are in stock and ready to ship, and the plug you see in the picture is exactly what you'll get. They fit multiple Husaberg models including 2012 - 2014 TE 125, 2011 - 2014 TE 250, 2011 - 2014 TE 300, 2013 - 2014 FE 250, 2013 - 2014 FE 350, 2010 - 2012 FE 390, 2009 - 2014 FE 450, 2013 - 2014 FE 501, 2008 - 2012 FE 570, and 2011 FE 570 S.

Using this oil filler plug is easy. First, make sure your engine is cool. Then, remove the old plug and clean the area around the oil filler hole. Take your new AS3 Performance oil filler plug, which comes with a rubber o - ring already attached. Simply screw it into the oil filler hole by hand first, then use a suitable tool to tighten it a bit more. But don't over - tighten. As for maintenance, check the plug regularly for any signs of damage or wear. If the rubber o - ring starts to look worn out, replace it. Also, keep the plug clean to ensure it works well. And remember, this plug is designed to handle high heat and pressure, but it's still a good idea to not push your engine to extreme conditions all the time.
