Upgrade your braking system with AS3 Performance Venhill brake lines. Made from marine-grade stainless steel, these brake lines eliminate hose expansion, greatly enhancing the feel and response of your brakes. Factory-tested to 1500 psi, they meet or exceed TUV and DOT standards. Unlike many other brake lines, AS3 Venhill ones come with 303 stainless steel swivel unions, allowing you to fine-tune the banjo angle for perfect alignment on the caliper and master cylinder every time. With a smooth, wipe-clean PVC finish, AS3 Performance branding, and matt black banjos and bolts, they're a big visual improvement over most OEM rubber hoses. They fit 2001 Ducati 996 (including S and R models) and 2002 - 2003 Ducati 998 (including 2002 998 S). Using your AS3 Venhill brake line is straightforward. First, make sure your bike is turned off and on a stable surface. Remove the old brake line carefully, taking note of how it's connected. Then, install the new AS3 Venhill brake line, using the included bolts and copper washers. Use the stainless steel swivel unions to adjust the banjo angle for a perfect fit. Once installed, check for any leaks and make sure the brake system is working properly before riding. As for maintenance, regularly clean the brake line with a soft cloth using a mild cleaner to keep the PVC finish looking good. Check the line for any signs of wear or damage, like cuts or leaks, and replace it if necessary. Store the bike in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
